Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO) is offering the opportunities of paid internship for 02 months for the graduate students in the final year to enhance their skills, employment prospects and financial support in the following categories. Students are required to submit their application on
LESCO website: http://www.lesco.gov.pk/jobs. The successful candidates can get Rs. 15000 per month stipend.

About Organization :

The Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), incorporated under the Companies
Ordinance 1984, is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan
(SECP). LESCO is licensed to distribute and supply electricity to its consumers, currently more
than 5.9 million, within defined geographical areas of Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Okara and
Nankana Districts.

LESCO Paid Internship Program for Students 2023 Complete details

The complete details of departments where internee will work after selection, required qualification and number of posts of all department separately are given below.

Operations, Technical Directorate

Required Qualification : Final Year in BSc Engineering, MSc. (Electrical) or equivalent.
Number of Internees Required : 60 internee required

Finance Directorate

Required Qualification : Final Year MBA (Finance), M.Com, BSc (Hons) or equivalent
Number of Internees Required : 10 internee required

Human Resources / Admn Directorate

Required Qualification : Final Year MBA,MPA (HRM), BSc (Hons) or equivalent
Number of Internees Required : 10 internee required

Information Technology Department

Required Qualification : Final Year MS (IT), MCS ,MBIT BSc (Hons) or equivalent
Number of Internees Required : 10 internee required

Customer Services

Required Qualification : Final Year MBA (Marketing) BSc (Hons) or equivalent
Number of Internees Required : 10 internee required

Stipend for Internees : Stipend will be Rs.15,000/- per month.

LESCO Paid Internship Program for Students 2023 Eligibilty & Selection Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

Only HEC recognized universities / college student can apply for this internship program.
Students of final years of the BSc. Engineering / Master’s degree programs will be considered for
internship.
Candidates who possess minimum 3.0 CGPA (or equivalent) in the previous academic
years/Semesters passed before the internship application date evidenced with transcript /
certificate duly attested by the concerned institution.

Selection Criteria

Final selection will be based on aggregate marks as per calculation mentioned below:-

For Masters or Equivalent (16-years of education) Degrees

%age marks obtained in matric @ 05%
%age marks obtained in intermediate or equivalent @ 15%
%age marks obtained in BA/BSc or Equivalent @ 30%
%age marks obtained in MA/MSc or equivalent @ 50%
- For Bachelors of equivalent (16-years of education) Degrees
%age marks obtained in matric @ 05%
%age marks obtained in intermediate or equivalent @ 25%
%age marks obtained in BA/BSc (Engg or Equivalent @ 70%

How to Apply for LESCO Paid Internship Program for Students 2023

Student will go on LESCO website i.e http://www.lesco.gov.pk/jobs then click on Apply Online for
Internship. After Registration Click on Login

After Filling all mandatory fields click on save button and the student will get a Tracking ID then
Download Declaration form.
After filling Declaration Form (available on LESCO website) student will forward Declaration Form
(Duly Signed & Stamped by Head of Institute) alongwith all required following documents and
Tracking ID to HR Department LESCO HQ 22/A Queens Road Lahore.
▪ University Recommendation Letter from Head of Department
▪ Attested copy of Matric Degree / Result Card
▪ Attested copy of Intermediate Degree / Result Card
▪ Attested copy of Result Card of Last Semester of Bachelor / Master
▪ Attested copy of Bachelor Degree / Result Card (in case of Student is applying
on the basis of relevant Master Degree)
▪ Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Request must indicate the exact dates of student’s availability and academic details besides area
of interest in LESCO and the skills and experience they expect to gain or develop during the
period of Internship besides articulate how this program fits into their academic goals in a
personal statement.
No application will be accepted / entertained with incomplete documents (as mentioned
above) and after expiry of due date.

General Instruction :

Only short listed / selected applicants (on the basis of merit of qualification) will be called for
internship.

LESCO reserves the right to withhold / cancel the internship of the applicants without assigning
any reason.
No TA / DA / conveyance allowance will be allowed to candidates during internship.
Last date for receipt of application is 30.05.2023
Internship certificate will be issued on submission of internship report by internees.
