• “Qualifications for Retired Armed Forces Personnel in Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan:
• WAPDA requires retired armed forces personnel, including Havaldar, Sepoy, and Lance Naik, with at least a middle-level educational qualification.
• The following conditions apply:
• This recruitment is for WAPDA projects in Pakistan. Selected individuals may be deployed on any WAPDA project.
• For retired armed forces personnel, a minimum of 18 years of service in the army, exemplary conduct, and a medical category of “A” are necessary.
• Preference will be given to individuals with experience in operations, rescue operations, navigation, marksmanship, and experience in operations in Kashmir and Balochistan.
• Qualified and decorated individuals from SSG (Special Service Group) commandos, who have completed the commando course, are also preferred.
• Individuals who have been discharged from the army as a punishment or have been forcibly retired will not be eligible. However, consideration may be given to their employment on a permanent basis based on three consecutive years of satisfactory performance.
• The initial three years of employment will be on a lump sum basis, which will include annual increments linked to government/departmental increases.
• Candidates who pass the medical and written tests will be selected based on merit. No TA/DA will be provided for this process.
• The job designation for employment in projects will be either Project Air or Alouns.
• Individuals fulfilling the above conditions should send their National Identity Card, Army Discharge Book, and attested copies of educational qualification certificates to the following address through registered TCS courier by May 31, 2023.
• Applications received after the specified date will not be accepted. Individuals who do not meet the mentioned conditions should not bother to submit an application.”
